John Eric Munoz is an instant film photographer based in Denton, Texas. He started the project Instant Denton in 2017 as a way to motivate himself to shoot consistently, and share his love of Denton’s unique people, places, and events. He serves on the board of the Instant Film Society, a non-profit group established in 2012 to increase awareness, accessibility, and understanding of instant analog photography. His work is rooted in nostalgia, but he enjoys collaborating with others and finding new ways to push instant film forward.
