Ryan Rudewicz grew up on Cape Cod and is now based in NYC, documenting drag, nightlife, and the LGBTQIA+ community. He got into instant film in 2016 with his Polaroid 600. Ryan would bring his camera to parties and get togethers, snapping photos throughout. It wasn't until 2020, when Ryan was furloughed from his job and bored at home that he started bringing his camera on walks and taking pictures along the way. He started buying new cameras, learning new tricks and "meeting" (through Instagram) more instant photographers. His favorite camera is his Polaroid SX-70 Sonar. Ryan was named "Best Nightlife Photographer" at the 2023 GLAM Awards, and his work documenting NYC drag has been featured in Paper Magazine.
